IFMSO newsletter 会員HOME

Dear Friends:
I want to wish everyone will have a happy holiday season and of course, a happy, and healthy, New Year - 2006 !

The IFMSO newsletter, Marfanworld E-News, has been launched on the IFMSO web site, and you can access it on : http://www.marfanworld.org.
<<<click on the link in the box at the top of the page, or click on the "RECENT NEWS" button on the left.>>>

I want to thank Wenche Snekkevik, (President, Marfanforeningen, and IFMSO Vice President), and Linn Hustad, (Norway) for their informational article on the Norwegian Marfan Organization, (norske marfanforeningen). Their work on compiling the Traveler’s Emergency Room Folder has been outstanding and of course is on-going, since their organization will be distributing this brochure to those who request it through e-mail requests. They will also be adding new and different languages when needed.
Thank you, Wenche and Linn.

Thank you, also, Drs. Bart Loeys, Jo Grima, and Anne De Paepe, for sending in the excellent detailed summary of the Ghent Symposia, which is also included in this first newsletter. Please feel free to copy and paste it in to your own newsletter if you wish, or send the report on to your medical advisors and local clinicians for their information.

And finally, thanks to Yoko Shimozaki, (IFMSO Vice President, Marfan Network, Japan); Sally Ferguson (Marfan Association, Victoria, Australia); Geraldine Duran, (Sindrome de Marfan de Mexico), and Nicolas Beltran Sogorb, (Asociacion de Afectados Sindrome de Marfan, SIMA, Spain), for the update of the activities of their organizations and their greetings to IFMSO. We invite all of you to send in notices of events and activities for the next newsletter, the deadline of which is March 15, 2006. Questions? Send them to me, Priscilla, (cilla71@aol.com).
Be well, and keep in touch.
